Jane Klimasauskas

I am certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors as a Professional Counselor. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy through the Pennsylvania State Licensure Board and am a member of the American Counseling Association.

I have my Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. After completing an internship at Mercy Behavioral Health, I remained on staff there for five years as a dual therapist. As a dual therapist, I worked with clients having mental health problems and / or an addiction to drug and alcohol. These services included individual, group, and couples counseling. I led two groups at Mercy Behavioral Health. One was a Women’s Trauma Survivors Group and the other was a Women in Addiction & Recovery Group.

I worked in private practice at Mt. Washington Psychiatric Services specializing in the use of psychotherapy - particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the treatment of grief & loss, depression, anxiety & panic, emotional / physical / sexual abuse, trauma, anger, cutting and other forms of self harm. Key issues of self, relationships, sexuality, spirituality, and change were emphasized.

In 2009, I opened my own private practice called - Christine’s Place. It is a caring, compassionate, and empowering environment. Christine’s Place is located at 111 South High Street, Zelienople, PA 16063. It is less than ten minutes north of Cranberry Township. Parking is never a problem. Clients are most often seen within 24 hours. For an appointment call 724-473-0873 or use the appointment request form to send me a message. I look forward to seeing you.
